Venezuelans may apply for humanitarian visa until March 31

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will hold two Facebook Live sessions a week to answer questions about the visa application process

Venezuelan citizens who are in the country and who comply with Decree 826, have until March 31, 2020 to apply for the Humanitarian Reasons Exception Visa (VERHU) and regularize their immigration status in the country.

The Ecuadorian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that it will hold two Facebook Live sessions a week to solve doubts about the visa application process. These online support sessions will be held with experts on the subject, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 11h00.

For this regularization process they are enabled in 17 immigration support services that citizens can access for free, and have the assistance of trained personnel.

They explain that these centers are open every day, from 08:30 to 17:00. In addition, they inform that the application for these visas for Venezuelan citizens is done through the Virtual Consulate (www.consuladovirtual.gob.ec) prior to the immigration registration in the Ministry of Government.
