66-year-old recovers from coronavirus in Ecuador

They were in home isolation

 A 66-year-old person recovered after being infected with a coronavirus in Ecuador. In addition, two other people, aged 33 and 36, also managed to overcome the virus. The three patients are still under surveillance, according to the action protocol.

Risk Management Minister Alexandra Ocles confirmed that three people recovered from the coronavirus. All three were part of the epidemiological fence of patient zero, who died on March 13.

Ocles explained that the three patients underwent the test on March 1. They passed their isolation and after 14 days the test was done again and they tested negative. According to the protocols, a second test must be performed 24 hours later, in which it was also negative for all three.

At the moment, these three people will have to remain in isolation for a time, as indicated in the protocol.

As of noon on Thursday, March 19, there are 260 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with Guayas being the province with the most infections and the first cases are reported in more than three provinces in the country. The pandemic leaves 4 people dead so far
