In Pichincha, confirmed cases of coronavirus can be consulted on a page prepared by the provincial COE

The information serves the authorities to make decisions regarding the health emergency.

The Pichincha Emergency Operations Committee made available the website https://coe-pichincha.senescyt.gob.ec/ where you can consult updated statistical data on confirmed, discarded, suspected, deceased and the number of samples taken for COVID-19.

This Thursday, April 16, the province of Pichincha registered a total of 736 positive cases with coronavirus and 34 people died. In Quito alone there are 682 cases and 32 fatalities.

In addition, on the page you can consult by age group, gender and see a breakdown by canton and parish.

These figures will allow the authorities to monitor the progress of this disease in their territory; also make the best decisions.

Agustín Albán, president of the Pichincha COE and secretary of Higher Education, indicated in a statement that this information is coordinated with the Ministry of Health and the national Emergency Operations Committee (COE).

The official recalled that the figures for confirmed cases are reported based on the onset of symptoms of the infected person.
