Chile reports more than four thousand cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours

The South American country has become the eighth country with the most infections globally and the third most regionally.

The Ministry of Health of Chile announced this Thursday a new day in which the numbers of diagnosed cases continue to be high

The Undersecretary of Assistance Networks, Arturo Zúñiga, reported an increase of 4,648 new cases in the last 24 hours.

With the new infections, registered in 24 hours, the South American country has a total of 259,064 infected people. The total number of deaths has risen to 4,903.
