President Lenín Moreno accepted Ocles’s resignation.
Once President Lenín Moreno accepted the resignation of Alexandra Ocles, he appointed Rommel Salazar Cedeño as General Director of the National Risk and Emergency Management Service (SNGR).
Salazar is serving as president of Alianza PAIS de Guayas, from where a new functional organic is already being organized for the pro-government movement with a view to the 2021 elections.
In March, Salazar was already proposing that Moreno continue as head of Alianza PAIS.
Now, the National Risk Management Service will be responsible for taking actions against the health emergency.
On his Twitter account he also appears as the zonal coordinator of the Ministry of Government.
