Former employees of the Tame airline initiate dialogues with the authorities to acquire company assets

A confidentiality agreement was delivered to the Ministry of Transportation to continue the process.

The idea of ​​buying the assets of the company in which they worked persists in the minds of former Tame employees, so they have already started dialogues with the authorities to reach an understanding.

The representatives of the collective ‘Justice for Tame’ created after the start of its liquidation was known, met with the Vice Minister of Air Transport to analyze this possibility.

The objective is to create a new company, bearing the same name, but belonging to the private sector.

Andrés Muñoz, spokesman for the group, affirmed that they work together with a United States company that is interested in the proposal.

This Thursday, the former workers of Tame delivered to the Ministry of Transportation, the confidentiality agreement that is required to continue with the process.

Now, it will be up to Tame’s liquidator and the American company to sign the document. Although other investors would also be interested in the Ecuadorian airline.

Meanwhile, in the next 15 days, the payment of the liquidations of the more than 700 employees who were separated from the company is planned.
