The Ecuadorian authorities collaborate with the Government of Peru and the objective of the flight is being investigated.
The Minister of Government, María Paula Romo, reported that the National Police collaborates with the authorities of Peru in the investigations into the plane crash that would have occurred this Monday June 8 in the populated center of El Bendito in the province of Zarumilla. , in Tumbes.
The plane crash left one dead and two people injured. The collaboration of the National Police is due to the fact that the two injured people are related to the criminal investigation of providers and managers of public hospitals carried out by the Prosecutor’s Office.
The Peruvian media warned that personnel from the National Police and the Army of that country moved to the accident area.
According to preliminary information from the Zarumilla sectoral police station, the accident occurred at 6:30 a.m. one kilometer from the Campoamor health center.
In the place they found the plane with modified numbering HO-BCQ and original HC-BLO PIPER PA-32 with Ecuadorian flag.
Likewise, suitcases with clothing were found a few meters from the aircraft.
At the moment, the objective of this flight is being investigated, since it is unknown if her route was to enter or leave Peru, because the place where the accident was registered is only 30 minutes away from the border area.
In her Twitter account, the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of Ecuador confirmed the registration number of the aircraft and indicated that the rescue work was coordinated with the Peruvian Search and Rescue Service.
The wounded female persons were transferred to the Hospital of Tumbes. Meanwhile, Ecuador activated the Aerial Investigation Board.
